Is it really for the highest good?
Everyone needs help once in a while but the wrong kind of help can actually damage the self image and bad self image is going to continuously create bad. Often when a friend is strapped for cash it gets tempting to rescue them. However that can create or confirm a belief that they need to be rescued. In stead visualize wealth and opportunity around them. In vision them finding the inner strength and ability to handle themselves with grace while they work through their difficult period. One of the most loving thing a friend told me once was NO. It took me a year or two to understand it but thank goodness he had said it. It forced me to get myself out the situation without anyones help... this created a new self image of how I saw ME. This then allowed the universe to see me differently too! Him saying no, allowed the universe to say yes.
Can we be our own best friend? It's easy for us to look at our friends and identify where we need to say no to them. However, now is the time for us to look at our own lives and honestly ask where do we need to be told NO?
Maybe we need to say NO, NO more credit card charges and start creating an abundant life. Having an ongoing debt isn't abundance, true abundance isn't having a large credit rating or credit limit as a backup. People create contingency backup plans because they plan to use them.
Maybe we need to say NO to the bad nutrition and sloth and in vision a healthy delicious diet and an enjoyable rewarding exercise plan.
Maybe we need to say NO to random destructive circular thinking and create an image of a serene mind and a peaceful soul.
Maybe we need to say NO to victim hood and scare tactics on the news and envision love and peace flowing from us to our enemies. Just turn off the TV. It's the deliberate misinformation that got us into the Iraq war in the first place.
