Tarot cards
The major arcana, The suit of wands, The suit of cups, The suit of swords, The suit of pentacles
My relationship with the tarot cards began when I was a teenager. I was drawn to the cards from the first time I saw them. The very existence of the tarot answered questions I wasn't asking, while creating a whole new set of questions I wanted to ask. In the early years there was a lot of frustration because I could sense communication, but it was a strange language that I could barely understand.
As a teenager everything seemed so profound, final, and of course dramatic! I eventually calmed down and became more open to the cards. They became less mysterious and just a nice divination parlor trick to amaze friends and myself.
At 23, I went through a personal experience that forced me to transform my way of life. This brought me to a greater understanding of the tarot as a meditation tool. They were a direct link to my sub-conscience; I was able to get to the root of my blocks very quickly using the cards. Allowing me to face a great many truths about myself. The cards have been a big part of my self-discovery and growth and I highly recommend them to everyone.
The tarot can be used for self-exploration or divination. I use them for both. I think the real power of the cards is self-exploration, because when you truly know yourself you can very easily change your life, by operating from self knowledge and free will. I hope this workbook and class blesses your life as much as the cards have blessed mine.
May you recognize and claim all your blessings!
